Do you have a piano or grand piano and want it moved? De Haan can help you with this. We work with the best specialists in the field to ensure your piano is moved in a safe manner.

Moving

A piano weighs about 150 to 350 kilos. How can we prevent damage to this particular instrument or damaging your house while moving it? We do this by placing so-called floor pads, depending on the floor. The specialized staff has experience and put this in special materials. Moving a grand piano is different than a regular piano. This therefore requires special materials for a safe move.

Even if the instrument should be moved from or to a higher floor it won't be an issue for us. We have special lifts or cranes available.

Crates or packing

If the relocation of the instrument is going via shipping container overseas, we provide a safe packaging (crates). Anything to protect your valuable asset as much as possible.

Tune

Wait with tuning the piano up to 1 or 2 months after the move. The piano needs some time to acclimatise and unwind.

We had an excellent experience with De Haan Relocation. They promptly responded to our information inquiries. The staff expertly answered all our questions, and a quote was promptly provided thereafter. The pickup, packing, and removal of the goods were well-organized. The staff knew how to disassemble the goods, and the antique cabinet was expertly packed in a custom-made crate. The information flow about shipping dates and arrival dates was excellent. De Haan's staff kept us informed of all steps in the transportation process and contacted us immediately after the goods arrived to inquire if we had received any updates on local handling, customs clearance, and delivery of the goods. Delivery and assembly of the goods were excellent. We are extremely satisfied with the service provided by De Haan Relocation, Netherlands!

Nothing but praise. Emails and phone calls were short and efficient. Great! Friendly and knowledgeable movers. They managed to get the table to the attic without any problems through the staircase. I believe De Haan rightfully has a very good reputation in the moving business. I hope not to have to move again in 10 years, but IF it happens, I'll call De Haan
