We had a discussion about the payment for damage. In my case about a certain amount the insurance company did not want to pay. This was not clear in advance and De Haan solved it. This is a point for improvement.

In 2011 we moved with De Haan from Amsterdam to Hong Kong. In 2017 through their partner firm from Hong Kong to London. Recently with De Haan from London to Rotterdam. With Team De Haan, moving from one continent to another is as easy as moving to a street a little further. I had to change a moving company last minute, and De Haan agreed to relocate me on a very short notice (more or less 2 weeks before my moving date). So, I already give them 10 for flexibility. Further, all of the employees that I was in contact with were very friendly, quick to reply on my emails, and very helpful in explaining what needs to be done. The movers themselves were very efficient with logistics (parking spot for the moving truck was arranged without me having to worry about anything), and with loading my stuff (in a blink of an eye all of my belongings were packed and gone). Aside from being very professional, De Haan also offer a very fair price for their services. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this company.

De Haan delivered an excellend service for our internatuional move. Always on call and flexible in their approach. I would definitely recommend De Haan Removals.

Relocation went well, everything was handled in a professional manner. The only item for improvement is the issue with some missing bolts. I finally went looking for replacement materials myself, I handed in the receipt and this is properly reimbursed. All in all, case resolved, however, this could have been handled a little more professionally.

Moving without worries. Packed perfectly and a few weeks later the items were on the other side of the world.

Experiences are fine. Paid import duties and taxes were a disappoinment and could have been prevented in my opinion.  For a certain part unjustified.

Of course De Haan always tries to avoid extra costs within the applicable laws and regulations.  In case you do not meet the requirements for duty and tax free import of your goods and all legal options have been investigated, there is no other option than payment of import duties and taxes.

The unpacking of the boxes went really fast, I could not check the list to see if all boxes were delivered, this list was quickly signed by the movers, and half an hour later they returned with a box they found, this was signed for, but not delivered. Eventually all ended well, but this way I could not check whether all boxes were really delivered. 

We were very happy with the coordination and execution of our move and the communication between all of us was really good! Thanks De Haan!

Efficient and helpful. I would recommend general whole coverage insurance as specific item insurance doesn’t cover any other damages. It’s human job and mistake can happens as usual.

De Haan was capable to remove me from Madrid to the Netherlands at very short notice. 

The actual move was performed by 'Methorst' from Woudenberg. I think that positive credits should go above all to this company. Maybe De Haan would have performed with the same quality, but I cannot judge about that.
