From start to finish, my experience with De Haan has been very good. In particular, they excel with communication; I felt well taken care of whenever I had questions. The staff in the office, and the movers on the day, were terrific. I recommend De Haan! It was a sister company that shifted my goods once in Toronto, and they were equally superb! \nMy only hesitation is in regard to how kitchen items were wrapped.I’m in the early stages of unboxing fragile pieces and have already found 9 broken glasses/mugs in the first two boxes. Fingers crossed, this won’t be a pattern in each box I open.

Everything went smooth. All goods arrived perfectly in original condition. Safely packed. The movers were friendly and did their work professionally.The only thing that I felt needed a bit of clarity is the break down of the quote could be a bit more clear. Or perhaps offer different solutions for people who want to move smaller size items and don't necessarily need an entire ship container for their move. If that is a possibility. But other than that I would highly recommend DeHaan, you guys are great!

“Onze huisraad moest binnen een relatief korte tijd naar het westen van Canada verhuisd worden. Hiervoor hebben we uiteindelijk gekozen voor De Haan. Niet omdat ze de goedkoopste waren, maar omdat de vertegenwoordiger een heel goed gevoel bij ons achtergelaten had. Na het ontvangen en tekenen van de offerte waren de verhuizers al snel de spullen aan het inpakken. Het inpakken ging allemaal heel snel en erg netjes en de container was al snel op weg. Na een aantal weken is de huisraad verder zonder problemen in Canada aangekomen. Tijdens het hele proces zijn we goed bijgestaan door de Nederlandse coordinator. Elke vraag die we hadden werd door hem snel en goed beantwoord.”

The organization, communication and skills from de Haan are excellent. The movers at our home in Vancouver were a bit slow and had to pack everything just with 2 guys. Without my help I assume the couldn't make it within the estimated time. I had to take off also all wall mounted furniture. The movers in Hamburg were excellent again.

Wij hebben in het verleden goede ervaring met DeHaan. Soepel project begeleiding, goed ontvangst bij vertrek en aankomst, GEEN schade, goed inpakken en uitpakken. Dit keer ging het mis. Wij hebben veel schade gehad en extra werk bij het ontvangst/uitpakken bij het land van bestemming. Ik zou jullie lokale partner in Canada NIET aanbevelen. Zij kwamen veel tekort bij hun project begeleiding.
