ISO 14001 - Norm for the environmental management system

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that indicates what a good environmental management system should meet. Using an environmental management system according to this ISO standard can control the environmental risks of business operations and, if possible, reduce them.

We believe that companies have a major social role and each company should help to leave the world a better place for future generations. De Haan tries to minimalize the environmental impact of its activities in its operations and is ISO 14001 certified since May 2014.

Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)

De Haan is one of the first international relocation companies to be awarded Authorized Economic. This is a testament to our international customers that De Haan can guarantee both safety and security, and can handle all customs clearance-related matters.

Recognized Movers Netherlands

In The Netherlands, De Haan is a 'recognized moving company' (Dutch: Erkende Verhuizer). When you choose an Erkende Verhuizer, you're opting for quality and peace of mind. Every registered moving company has to meet the requirements imposed by Erkende Verhuizers – the Dutch trade organization that oversees the industry in the Netherlands.

Ecovadis

EcoVadis is an international platform that sheds light on the sustainability practices of various players in production chains. Since July 2023, De Haan has been in possession of a silver medal from EcoVadis. Silver medals are exclusively awarded to the top 15% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
