ISO 9001 - International standard for quality management

ISO 9001 is a set of international requirements relating to quality management and is used to assess whether an organization is able to meet its customers' requirements, comply with relevant legislation and regulations, and fulfill its own organizational requirements. It also forms the basis for setting up and maintaining a quality management system. De Haan believes wholeheartedly in the power of quality systems that help people in their work. We carefully monitor market developments in this respect. Not only in terms of meeting customer requirements, but also to continue improving our own internal organization. De Haan has implemented a version of the ISO 9001 standards applicable to moving companies. In doing so, we've also chosen to adopt the PPV's more stringent requirements incorporating SCC standards (Safety, Health, and Environment Checklist for Contractors).

ISO 27001

ISO 27001 is a set of ISO standards used to effectively secure information. Physical security as well as digital. Digital security has become more of a priority due to the increasing amount of cybercrime. ISO 27000 provides guidelines for the procedural organization of information security.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is a set of internationally recognized standards that set out the criteria for proper environmental management systems (EMS). Using an ISO 14001-compliant EMS, it's possible to manage and even mitigate any environmental risks arising during operations.

Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)

De Haan is one of the first international relocation companies to be awarded Authorized Economic. This is a testament to our international customers that De Haan can guarantee both safety and security, and can handle all customs clearance-related matters.

Recognized Movers Netherlands

In The Netherlands, De Haan is a 'recognized moving company' (Dutch: Erkende Verhuizer). When you choose an Erkende Verhuizer, you're opting for quality and peace of mind. Every registered moving company has to meet the requirements imposed by Erkende Verhuizers – the Dutch trade organization that oversees the industry in the Netherlands.

Ecovadis

EcoVadis is an international platform that sheds light on the sustainability practices of various players in production chains. Since July 2023, De Haan has been in possession of a silver medal from EcoVadis. Silver medals are exclusively awarded to the top 15% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
