We are pleased that our new moving truck is a great example of sustainable entrepreneurship, running on biodiesel.

De Haan Removals CO2-neutral with its own fleet

Since 2016, we have been moving CO2-neutral with our entire own fleet of moving trucks. However, because we keep looking for improvements, we chose biodiesel for this newest moving truck. Our latest Volvo is suitable for running completely or on any blend of biodiesel without any problems. This contributes to less (-89%) CO2 emissions compared to current diesel.

De Haan already has 4 DAF trucks that are suitable for biodiesel. Biodiesel is a type of biofuel that is mainly made from vegetable oil or animal fat.

Even less fuel consumption

The latest addition is also equipped with a steering rear axle that can be raised and a closed side. This aerodynamics ensures less wear on the road surface, makes the car safer and ensures even less fuel consumption. The fact that it is equipped with 4 seats makes the use of an extra car less necessary. However, this is not yet feasible in the 1.5 meter society.
