As an Accredited Mover and Accredited Project Mover, De Haan meets the quality requirements of the sector-approved Accredited Movers in the area of ​​quality, safety AND environment. De Haan has also signed the Responsible Market Conduct Code. This means that we grant, accept and execute orders responsibly and with respect. As an OEV member and by signing the responsible market behavior code, we also allow ourselves to be checked and tested against the standards.

The values ​​"work from service" and "work from stewardship" are anchored in our corporate philosophy of responsible entrepreneurship because we strongly believe that change starts with you. From our vision, it is our ambition to not only positively differentiate in terms of customer satisfaction, but also in sustainability.

Responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship is in our opinion never finished, but rather a process of optimization and improvement that grows with advancing insights. And we have been doing this for 8 generations De Haan since 1777(!).

Making our carbon footprint transparent is a step towards preventing more CO2 emissions. Did you know, for example, that since 2016 we have been moving your belongings CO2-neutral with our own fleet of vehicles? Less CO2 emissions provides better air quality and a better living environment aligned with our sustainable entrepreneurship policy.

Within this policy we continuously strive for improvement. In 2020, for example, we are continuing to invest in LED lighting, separation and recycling of our packaging material, our fleet and solar panels. We now also make an extra contribution to our chain partner CTR Logistics BV to realize CO2 neutral container transport within the Netherlands for our overseas customers. A logical next step and a nice concrete example of taking responsibility and working together in sustainability.
