Absolutely excellent experience. The pickup and delivery were both extremely well organised, everything happened on time and very efficiently. This is the second time we have used De Haan for recolating and everything arrived at destination in good condition. De Haan provided accurate collection and delivery information, and complied with the price and terms provided in the initial quotation. Good communication and efficiency, something very valuable, especially during COVID times.

Excellent and high professional service at all levels from A to Z

The move involved a relocation of household goods from the USA. De Haan supervised everything. All this was complicated by the COVID virus. As a result, a statement of the valuation / inventory had to be made via a video chat. Afterwards, it turns out that the person had estimated that perfectly. Upon arrival in the Netherlands, the container was cleared and the items were delivered to the port of Rotterdam a week after arrival. Four very experienced movers quickly emptied the container and started unpacking the items. Except for a few minor damage (caused by packers in the USA) it went well. Since not everything could be unpacked, approximately 80% was unpacked and all packaging materials were immediately taken by De Haan. In short, both the supervision of the office and the staff are beyond dispute.

Professional organization. All items delivered to your home in the same condition. Very satisfied.

Overall the experience was very good

We are using a 'real' mover for the first time. It is a somewhat complex move in 2 stages. We experienced the loading of a part ourselves, I then made the comparison with a ballet performance, so everyone is attuned to each other. Part of the furniture arrived in Spain last week, perfectly cared for. We are not worried about the rest of our household effects, which are safely stored at 'De Haan' for the time being.

As my household was transferred from South Korea to the Netherlands, the Korean partner moving company of De Haan was in charge for the packing and moving. I was very impressed by this company, the way of handling by the people was outstanding, very efficient, careful, friendly and helpful, and with an unbelievable speed, never seen something like this.  All my household, over 30 cubic meter, total 230 packages,  was packed by 5 men in 6 hours, including the lunchtime. It only took one and half hour to load two trucks.  They emptied the cupboards, dismantled the furniture and beds and administrated  everything very well, no damage at all. The move in the Netherlands was also excellent, also friendly and fast, without any problems. An exceptional combination of efficiency, experience, precision and speed.

All super arranged, we were continuously kept informed and De Haan was easily accessible by telephone and e-mail. The mover who came to pick up our things abroad visited us the day before to see if everything was in order and to give some extra materials and packing tips.

Loading and unloading are carried out quickly and professionally and punctually as announced in good time by the coordinator. You know exactly where you stand. Tip from the movers: invest in good sturdy boxes if you want to pack yourself. The quality of the moving boxes from the hardware store is even poor for single use.

Sylvia was our star during the move. Moving countries internationally is always difficult, but moving during the coronavirus crisis was beyond challenging. Sylvia made sure everything was handled on time, that we submitted all the necessary documents and provided a reassuring presence when the uncertainty due to the coronavirus measures was at its greatest. All her De Haan colleagues were similarly professional and helpful. If we move again, we will choose De Haan.

Although the overall service was very good, I was really disappointed by the absolute lack of flexibility on the date of delivery which created a very significant constraint on my side. Given the amount paid, I was expecting that you would provide some flexibility and adapt to my schedule and availabilities. This was not clear at the time of the quotation.
